I took accordion lessons as a kid in Montreal (my father loved the instrument) but I put is aside when my family moved back to my parents native Greece. Fast forward 20 or so years I brought it back to the US on a trip home at my mother\u2019s urging. A few years ago during a work hiatus I picked it up again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I love the versatility of the accordion and am especially fond of french musettes, italian music, Astor Piazzolla and jazz. I am grateful to my teachers: David McAfee, who introduced me to the music of Tony Lovello and Jeremiah McLane for teaching me to play by ear and introducing me to traditional music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My dad passed away a few years ago but I would like to think that he would be pleased that I am playing!
