RUK<\/strong> is short for our Conductor\/Arranger \u2013 David Rukhelman<\/a>.<\/strong>
David and his support team — Dan Mackowiak, Bob Bonanno and David Magliozzi — established the RUK Accordion Orchestra<\/em><\/strong> in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Mission:<\/strong>
The RUK Orchestra provides an opportunity for accordionists of all skill levels to come together to rehearse and publicly preform all varieties of expressively arranged music. In the process of learning together we naturally improve our reading and playing skills and bring beautiful accordion music to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Goal:<\/strong>
We strive to rehearse every other Saturday in order to enjoy the process of learning together and to prepare for public performances. We typically play several concerts a year around the metro-Boston area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Open Invitation<\/strong>:
Accordionists wanted. <\/em> We welcome accordionists at all levels of ability to join in this creative, friendly learning environment. We are dedicated to sharing accordion music in the community. New members are always welcome<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
